St. Ignatius Catholic School was founded in Rogers City, Michigan, in 1920. Since then, we have been educating both Catholic and non-Catholic children from Rogers City and the surrounding areas. In addition to grades 1 through 8, we offer preschool, kindergarten, and an after-school program.
We are known for our strong academic curriculum, outstanding children's choir, competitive athletics, and modern technology. Some of our many offerings include vocal, physical education, band, and computers. In addition to leading the weekly children's Mass, our students live their faith by serving God and his people. Prayer, thanksgiving, and service are practiced daily at St. Ignatius School. Our mission is “Guided by the Holy Spirit, the love of God, and Christ-like living, St. Ignatius is committed to nurturing all children through a strong formation of faith, academic excellence, and compassionate discipline.” |
